| The General
Secretariat is under the authority of the Secretary General who is appointed by the
Assembly Bureau at the Speaker’s recommendation. This is declared to the Speaker.
Accordingly, the Secretary General attends the Assembly sessions and the meetings of both
the Assembly Bureau, the General Committee and those of the Specific Standing Committees .
The Speaker of the Assembly supervises the General Secretariat of the Shoura Assembly as well as its administrative affairs. he General Secretariat is competent to supervise all technical , financial and administrative activities and assists the Shoura Assembly in the exercise of its responsibilities |
